According to one of Microsoft's head honchos based in Czechoslovakia, the software giant will make their productivity app available for iOS and Android users beginning on March 2013. The Verge mentioned that they saw a Press Release confirming the statement of Petr Bobek (Microsoft Product Manager) which mentioned plans of offering the Office to other platforms outside Windows starting on March next year. It also mentioned that the business users will be the first ones to get a taste of the new Office starting this December followed by a consumer launch two months after. However, the company did mention their plans of bringing Office to mobile platforms including iOS and Android before.
