The OnePlus 5T is packed with powerful internals but it is unable to stream contents on Netflix, Google Play Movies, Amazon Prime, and other video services in HD-- as seen from a thread in OnePlus forums. The OnePlus 5T, as well as the OnePlus 5, lack support for Widevine Level 1 DRM which is required for devices to be able to stream HD contents. A company spokesperson from OnePlus said that a future update will include Widevine Level 1 DRM but didn't state why the said component isn't present from the day the OnePlus devices were built.
