Boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao will be rolling out a new digital payment platform, the PacPay. Expected to launch in 2021, PacPay will provide users with prepaid solutions to make payments conveniently. This is under Pacquiao's fintech company Pac Technologies, which has recently announced a strategic partnership with fintech remittance firm Remsea to facilitate both companies’ initiatives in the financial technology system. Pacquiao has mentioned that said part of the platform's proceeds will finance charity projects in the Philippines.
