According to the report of The Philippine Star, CAB's advisory indicated that the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has yet to approve the domestic routes proposed by the airlines. Negros Occidental provincial administrator Rayfrando Diaz shared that said that local flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has canceled its Manila-Bacolod-Manila commercial flights until June 7. Philippine Airlines introduced the myPAL Request Hub to help passengers rebook, refund, or convert their tickets to a travel voucher. After Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is also prohibiting the use of the Samsung Galaxy Note7 on board all its flights. Philippine Airlines Inc (PAL) has put a halt on passengers bringing lithium-ion batteries inside cargo carriage for check-in as a way of preventing a possible source of fire while airborne. The move was in response to other international airlines implementing the same procedure to assure its passengers of the added safety onboard the aircraft.
