The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has officially launched the PhilSys pre-registration website for the country's national ID. As per the PSA PhilSys website, the online system is currently open to resident Filipinos. The PSA reminds that those who have completed Step 1 registration through house-to-house collection no longer need to register online to avoid issues with their registration. To begin the registration, registrants will be asked to enter their Philippine mobile number or email address. Today, President Duterte has officially signed the Philippine Identification System Act (PhilSys) after it was approved in the Congress in May this year.
