Areas of responsibilities and expectations were also indicated for the position of Head of Mobile, such as the promotion of vision, mission, strategy for mobile game development, and advertisement success. The position will also partner with PlayStation Studios' leadership team to develop a product roadmap for 3-5 years, resuming existing mobile slates that are already in development, and finally, build out capabilities in mobile live operations. PlayStation also announced the termination of PlayStation stores for their PS3, PSP, and PS Vita consoles on the 27th of August 2021.
