Ragnarok Online launched in the Philippines just recently and will be free to play with the Closed Beta Testing slated for mid-June. Ragnarok Online Philippines has opened their registration for those who want to be one of the firsts to play the game once it becomes available. Ragnarok Online has finally relaunched in the country with a festival held at the SM City North EDSA Annex this past weekend, and most are anxiously waiting for the official server opening. After a few months of waiting, Ragnarok Online will officially relaunch in the Philippines. As posted by the Ragnarok Online Philippines Facebook page, there will be celebrity guests and bands plus, of course, prizes and goodies including a giveaway of in-game items. Several Korean websites have reported that Ragnarok Online is being brought back to the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries through a new publisher. According to multiple sources, Gravity (which made Ragnarok Online) has awarded a USD1 Million license to Ragnarok Thailand publisher Electronics Extreme to distribute the game in other Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and here in the Philippines.
