Razer has announced its first eyewear product that protects the user's eyes from blue light, UVA, and UVB, as well as offers smart features, the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses. The Razer Anzu Smart Glasses combines the protection of 35% blue light filtering lenses, 99% UVA/UVB protective polarized sunglasses, touch controls, and open-ear audio in a single wearable. The packaging includes the Anzu Smart Glasses with 35% blue light filtering lenses pre-installed, 99% UVA/UVB protective polarized sunglass replacement lenses, USB-A charging cable, cleaning cloth, and a carrying case to store the frames and additional lenses. The hardware will officially hit select brick-and-mortar Smart Stores nationwide later this week, where non-subscribers can also purchase the glasses as a standalone retail item. Samsung and Google announced a new line of AI-powered smart glasses. Created in partnership with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the glasses work as a companion device for smartphones. Samsung says the smart glasses are designed to offer hands-free access to AI while blending in with familiar eyewear styles. Meta is reportedly preparing to launch new Ray-Ban smart glasses designed for people who wear prescription lenses, according to recent reports.
