realme is preparing to kick off 2026 with the launch of its new realme 16 Pro Series 5G, teased in India as the brand’s next big mid-range “masterpiece.” The teaser shows a flat-frame design with a large rear camera module, clearly positioning the lineup as a camera-first device. If realme follows the same timeline, Filipino buyers can expect the 16 Pro Series to land around March 2026, bringing upgraded cameras, bigger batteries, and sharper displays to the mid-range segment. That is a remarkable amount of power coming from the 2025 flagship processor - with its Qualcomm equivalent being the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 and 5. For this review, we’re looking at the realme 16 Pro+. Design and Construction The most obvious change realme made to the realme 16 Pro and Pro+ variant is the design. We’re sure everyone will have their own opinion regarding the redesigned camera island of the realme 16 Pro+. With that, even users with small hands won’t have a hard time using the realme 16 Pro+ with one hand. Despite the leather-like back panel, the realme 16 Pro+ is still well protected from the elements.
