Realme software update

realme hasn’t been entirely transparent about its software update policy in the past. realme Product Marketing Head Francis Wong has announced that they’re extending their 3+4 update policy for its current mid-range lineup: the realme 14 Pro+, 14 Pro, 14T, 15 Pro, and 15. Additionally, this update pledge will also apply to all future Pro, standard, and T versions of the realme Number Series. Based on software upgrade policy, there are numerous devices under realme that may not be eligible for the next realme UI 7.0 update. As the launch for Android 16 is starting to occur, realme has unveiled the realme UI 7.0 update that has the latest Android operating system. With that, the realme GT 7 will be one of the first devices to have the realme UI 7.0 update. Subsequently, existing realme devices should get the new update as well. The first devices to get the update are, of course, the flagship ones such as the realme GT6 Series, realme 13 Pro, and realme 12 Pro Series in the next three months, likely in Q4 2024.
