Realme has revealed new information on its next OS major upgrade, realme UI 4.0 bringing enhanced security, updated design, and optimizations on top of Android 13 core features and functionalities. Apparently, the most significant change lies in OS security as realme UI 4.0 adds Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). There is also the Quantum Animation Engine 4.0 which optimizes animations. "The texture of the icon is designed to be much richer with more layers and shadows," a realme moderator said in an official community post. OPPO's Realme sub-brand has unveiled the Realme 2, sporting mid-range hardware and a huge battery to boot. The Realme 2 is a lot less powerful than the Realme 1 with a Snapdragon 450 on board and features the OPPO F7's diamond back in three different colors. Realme may also bring this device to Southeast Asia and the Middle East as it plans to expand its business later this year.
