Samsung has introduced a new app that aims to help people deal with motion sickness using a simple audio-based solution. Called Hearapy, the app works by playing a specific 100 Hz sound frequency that targets the inner ear, which is responsible for balance. According to Samsung, listening to the tone for about one minute may help reduce motion sickness symptoms for up to two hours. Samsung says the app is designed to be a quick, non-medicated option for people who feel dizzy or nauseous while traveling. The app is closely tied to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, which Samsung says are optimized to deliver the required sound frequency clearly. However, early tests suggest the app can also work with other headphones, as long as they can accurately reproduce the tone. Non-samsung device users are currently experiencing issues with their Samsung Pay showing an error message that says ID is not valid. Samsung Pay is similar to Apple Pay and Google Pay which is used by Samsung and non-samsung devices for payment of items by just tapping the device to an NFC-enabled device contactless payment terminal instead of using credit or cash.
