According to a report by the folks over at PC Advisor UK, Samsung will be halting the sales of both the company’s Windows-based (Ativ) and Chrome-based (Chromebook) line of computers in European markets. In a statement, a Samsung spokesperson told PC Advisor UK that the decision was made after careful consideration of the “current market needs and demands”. We've gotten confirmation that Samsung is set to launch a number of new smartphones, laptops and camera. We've been told that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Zoom will be among the few smartphones along with a new Samsung ATIV ultrabook. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday. While everybody is getting frustrated with the supposed Globe iPhone 3G pricing, the Samsung Omnia will definitely be a formidable alternative to the former. The rumored new Samsung i8510 that tows in an 8-megapixel camera and a 16GB internal storage becomes official. This new Samsung i8510 phone will be named Innovate or Innov8.
