Samsung will now let you have the power to disable its dedicated Bixby button. Bixby can be summoned by long-pressing the home screen button of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note8. Samsung's Bixby is a virtual assistant for users which is equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Samsung's own virtual assistant called Bixby and its voice capabilities are now available in more countries worldwide, including the Philippines. Samsung plans to continue expanding Bixby’s voice capabilities to additional countries, languages, devices, features and third-party applications. Samsung users with devices that support Bixby (most notably the S8 and S8+) will now be able to use the virtual assistant after a 500MB OTA update. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday.
