Samsung Galaxy A8s The Samsung Galaxy A8s was announced in December and features a new display design called the Infinity-O display. The Galaxy A8s is priced in China for CNY 2,999 (~PHP 23,311.29). Weeks before the end of 2018, smartphone brands have released new and very intriguing phones -- the Lenovo Z5s and Samsung Galaxy A8s. The Lenovo Z5s comes with a notch design that is similar to the OPPO F9's dewdrop display while the Galaxy A8s uses Samsung's Infinity-O display which has a punch-hole design at the upper corner that houses the front camera. Speaking of displays, the Z5s comes with a taller screen aspect ratio and a better panel (see Smartphone Display Tech Explained) but the Galaxy A8s has a larger screen size. However, in terms of RAM capacity, the Galaxy A8s comes with a larger maximum GB of memory but to me, 8GB is already an over-kill for a smartphone. Both the Lenovo Z5s and Galaxy A8s have a triple rear camera setup but the former comes out on top with its wider aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A8s is equipped with a slightly larger battery capacity compared to the Lenovo Z5s, but they both have fast charging capabilities.
