We've just confirmed that the Samsung Gear VR is coming to the Philippine before the end of the month. Samsung and Oculus has introduced the first consumer version of the its Gear VR wearable for just $99. The Samsung Gear VR is priced at $99 (~Php4,700) and comes in Frost White. A Samsung representative has indicated that the Gear VR will be sold with a price tag of just $199. However, bear in mind that the Samsung Gear VR will be using the Galaxy Note 4 as the HUD so that entails another $799 (~Php35,000) to build the whole set. We're expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to arrive in the Philippines sometime late October but we're not sure if the Gear VR will tag along with it.
