Samsung’s web browser may soon get new multitasking and artificial intelligence (AI) features as part of the upcoming One UI 9 update, according to recent reports. A new option called “Enable Cross Device Resume” was also seen in a leaked version of the Samsung Browser. According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung has come to the conclusion that switching over to Bing wouldn't cause much of disruption amongst users and that most users tend to either use Chrome or other mobile browsers than Samsung's Internet browser. Five months ago, Samsung released the open beta of its browser app for exclusive use with Google Nexus and Pixel devices. The features of this new update include a high contrast mode for more comfortable reading, WebVR support for non-Samsung Gear VR headsets, controlling Bluetooth devices via the browser, and the ability to sync even across non-Samsung devices.
