2017 MacBook Pro will still have security patches The 2017 MacBook Pro is the second generation of Macs with a Touch Bar. Moving forward, these 2017 MacBooks will only get security patches for at least two years. These devices will receive three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches. Older realme models outside these series will retain the standard 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security patches. Select devices are now granted support for 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches. Previously, Xiaomi devices got up to 4 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. Both will now receive Android version updates for 5 years and security updates for 7 years. This means it will now get up to four years of OS upgrades and five years of security patches.
