Starting today, July 5, 2018, both Smart and Globe prepaid loads, in all denominations, will now have one-year validity. Globe starting implementing this policy with their 300 pesos and above prepaid loads last January 6, but now they're bringing it to the lower than 300 pesos denominations. Smart, on the other hand, will also extend the load validity of their subnetworks Sun and TNT. This includes all load denominations of Smart Prepaid, Smart Bro, TNT, Sun Prepaid, Sun Broadband Wireless Prepaid, Smart Link, Smart Marino, PLDT Prepaid Landline Plus and PLDT Home. Like Globe, Smart also implemented this policy for their over 300 pesos and above loads back in January. I fired up several internet bandwidth meters, hooked up my Smart Bro Prepaid account and positioned my laptop to get an HSDPA signal. This could be a response to the SmartBro 3G Price Cuts on the prepaid kits (Php3,800).
