Smart prepaid subscribers can now experience blazing fast internet connection as the MVP-owned Telco launched the Smart Prepaid LTE. Smart will start selling these LTE enabled devices this coming Sunday. According to Globe, the service works by allowing compatible LTE smartphones with an active Globe SIM to connect directly to Starlink satellites once they are outside Globe's terrestrial network coverage and have a clear view of the sky. I fired up several internet bandwidth meters, hooked up my Smart Bro Prepaid account and positioned my laptop to get an HSDPA signal. This could be a response to the SmartBro 3G Price Cuts on the prepaid kits (Php3,800).
