Qualcomm announces its latest mid-range chipsets for future mobile devices -- the Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630. The Snapdragon 660 succeeds the Snapdragon 653 while the Snapdragon 630 replaces the Snapdragon 626. These features were previously exclusive to the Snapdragon 800-series processors. Other new features include support for Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm Snapdragon X12 LTE modem (up to 600Mbps down), 2x2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi, iris scanning, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4. The Nokia 5630 changes all that and promises to be an NGage gaming unit as well. The Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset, while the Note 15 Pro+ uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 platform.
