Chipset It’s no surprise that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (3.0 GHz max frequency) on the POCO F5 Pro outperforms the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 (2.91 GHz) on the base model POCO F5. Qualcomm has just recently launched its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with both Xiaomi and Realme having announced on Weibo posts that they will soon be releasing smartphones that pack in the new chipset. The chip manufacturer says that the 7+ Gen 2's Kryo CPU boasts substantial performance upgrades of up to 50% in overall improvement and performance gains.
