Qualcomm has just recently launched its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with both Xiaomi and Realme having announced on Weibo posts that they will soon be releasing smartphones that pack in the new chipset. Just as we reported last week, Qualcomm has now officially launched its all-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. Qualcomm calls the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 its "most powerful Snapdragon 7-series — ever." The chip manufacturer says that the 7+ Gen 2's Kryo CPU boasts substantial performance upgrades of up to 50% in overall improvement and performance gains. The 7+ Gen 2 also promises high-speed 5G and Wi-Fi through the Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF System. We expect the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 to appear in mid-range to upper mid-range devices and we're excited about what it can provide in terms of real-world usage. Qualcomm is keeping budget phones alive and kicking with two new chips, the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 brings faster performance, with a CPU that’s up to 51% quicker than before and better graphics for smoother apps and games. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 steps into the 5G era with faster internet speeds, newer memory support, and quicker charging.
