Lazada is one of the country’s leading ecommerce platforms, with the program allowing creators to tag products in their videos. The feature, already live in five other SEA countries, brings an upgraded video commerce experience to Filipino viewers, content creators, and brands. The rollout is part of YouTube’s broader push into video commerce, which has seen massive growth in Southeast Asia—video shopping accounted for 20% of the region’s e-commerce GMV in 2024, quadrupling since 2022. After three years of what it seems to be research and development for the product, Polaroid announced that its new Socialmatic camera will be available for purchase next year. This represents Polaroid's Socialmatic idea -- bringing social media network instagram to life that started in 2012. Socialmatic shares pictures taken on the social network as well as print physical copies, just like the old Polaroid cameras did. The new camera for the social-friendly will sport an LCD display at the back and will run at everyone's friendly Android software, so you can install additional apps if you want to.
