Along with the A3000 and a trio of new E-mount lenses, Sony also announced the updated version of their mid-range offering, the NEX-5T. Besides the inclusion of NFC to its arsenal, the NEX-5T is pretty much an exact replica of its predecessors (NEX-5R/5N), both in design and features. The only other notable change between the NEX-5T and ones before it is in its kit lens. Instead of a SEL1855 (18-55mm f3.5-5.6), the new Sony NEX-5T will now be bundled with SELP1650 (16-50mm f3.5-5.6) retractable power-zoom lens. Sony finally lent me one of their limited Sony Vaio P to test out for a week. That means I should be able to publish a full review by early next week. Sony has been taking it's time to get its own netbook out in the market and at the same time, criticizing other manufacturers for a mediocre product.
