About a dozen and half media people were invited here in South Korea today to visit several offices and plants by LG Electronics. Xiaomi has officially entered the South Korean market, unveiling a number of devices at a press conference held in Seoul. Jony Wu, Head of Xiaomi’s South Korean branch highlighted their focus on balancing quality and affordability to meet consumer needs. Reuters has reported that Meta has been fined KRW 21.6 billion (~$15 million) by South Korea’s Personal Information Protection Commission. The regulatory body’s investigation also revealed that Meta collected the information of over 980,000 South Korean users.
