The popular social media app, TikTok, has launched a new pilot program called “TikTok Resumes." TikTok is now testing a job application tool that allows its users to apply with video resumes to different companies directly. Over half of the app’s user base is under 24 years old, and this is the demographic that TikTok is targeting with TikTok resumes. "Interested candidates are encouraged to creatively and authentically showcase their skill sets and experiences and use #TikTokResumes in their caption when publishing their video resume to TikTok," the company said. The TikTok resumes pilot program is currently only available in the US. TikTok is rolling out Shared Collections, a feature that lets users organize TikTok content together in one space, and is preparing to launch Shared Feeds for watching content based on shared interests.
