Twitch is now updating its Ads Incentive Program to help creators earn more. [caption id="attachment_310961" align="alignnone" width="720"] Image | Twitch[/caption] At first, the Ads Incentive program (AIP) gives incentives to their creators by calculating ads through a fixed CPM, a flat rate for every 1,000 ad views to a creator’s channel. Now, Twitch is shifting from a ‘fixed CPM structure’ to a ‘percentage-based revenue’ for every revenue on each ad that runs on a stream. Based on Twitch, ‘This change represents a 50-150% ad pay rate increase for the vast majority of Creators on Twitch’. Twitch clarified that the AIP is optional, that creators can opt-in as the offer for monthly becomes available or they can opt out anytime and creators are promised that they won’t earn less in ad revenue through the AIP.
