Google is partnering with CapCut to bring video and image editing tools to the Gemini app. CapCut said users will soon be able to edit photos and videos directly through Gemini using some of its editing features. CapCut already offers AI-powered editing tools and previously partnered with Google through Google Photos, which added an “edit with CapCut” shortcut in its 2025 recap feature. Canva has just launched Canva Video Suite, an end-to-end video creation product that aims to empower everyone to design and publish videos without starting from scratch. According to Canva, Video Suite offers intuitive editing, recording, and collaboration features, thousands of customizable video templates, and an extensive media library in one easy-to-use platform. Canva offers templates that span online platforms like TikTok Ads, YouTube Sets, workplace and business videos, plus various templates for Halloween, New Year, and other celebrations. Anyone can easily create and customize videos with new features that include: • Scene-Based Editor - The platform simplifies video creation with a scene-based approach that feels familiar with building presentation slides.
