vivo on Thursday has officially announced the latest additions to their flagship lineup: the vivo X80 and X80 Pro boasting the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. [caption id="attachment_310510" align="alignnone" width="720"] Vivo X80 Series[/caption] Both new premium flagships are crafted in collaboration with ZEISS Optics imaging technology promising to deliver ‘superb camera capabilities’ including cinematic video shooting, superior night photography, and improved image stabilization. [caption id="attachment_310508" align="alignnone" width="720"] Vivo V1+ Chip[/caption] Along with the vivo X80 series is the debut of vivo’s proprietary chip called the vivo V1+ designed to boost performance on imaging capabilities, display, and gaming department of the new flagships. The vivo V1+ will work hand in hand with the flagships’ primary CPU through a ‘dual-processing system’. The vivo X80 fronts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 3D curve on the sides, a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W charging rate, and triple rear camera setup with a 50MP IMX866 main sensor. It has a quad rear camera setup with 50MP GNV main sensor plus an 8MP periscope camera. The vivo X80 will retail at Php 45,999 (12GB + 256GB) and the vivo X80 Pro is priced at Php 59,999 (12GB + 256GB).
