WhatsApp tipster WABetaInfo disclosed that the Meta-owned subsidiary is now pushing out message reactions to some Android beta testers running version 2.22.8.3 of the app. “Unfortunately, this looks like a very small test so only certain beta testers are able to react to messages, but everyone is now able to see message reactions,” WABetaInfo stated. WhatsApp users will now be able to edit their messages. Users who want to edit one of their WhatsApp messages can do so by long-pressing on a sent message and choosing the 'Edit' option from the menu. These edited messages, along with all the other messages, media, and calls within WhatsApp continue to be protected by end-to-end encryption.
