Xbox Game Pass and Discord Nitro are getting new benefits as part of an expanded partnership between Xbox and Discord. Discord has announced that eligible Discord Nitro members will now receive a Starter edition of Xbox Game Pass in supported regions. This gives subscribers another way to access and play a selection of games included with the Game Pass service. Discord has also updated its interface to make it easier to jump into Game Pass titles. When users see a friend playing a game through Discord, they can select a new 'Play' button and choose Xbox Game Pass to start playing right away. Later this month, eligible Xbox Game Pass subscribers will begin receiving Discord Nitro benefits as well. Reports from Technobaboy and Unbox have confirmed Xbox Game Pass price hikes in the Philippines.
