With the introduction of the Xiaomi Mi5, the company has once again proven that they can pull off one big hit after another. Xiaomi has been known to make really great phones at an affordable price. The first time they officially entered the Philippines, the Xiaomi Mi 3 sold really well that people were buying them and selling them for a higher price due to high demand. For the purpose of this review, we got the 3GB/32GB variant which we bought from Widget City (see listing here). OS, Apps and UI The Xiaomi Mi 5 runs on MiUI 7.2.5 which is basically a customized version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Xiaomi has had a good reputation of providing fast and regular updates to their devices and this is something very few other brands can match. Evennduring the time we reviewed out unit we've had at least two system updates. Xiaomi already had a Mi Remote app pre-installed and it worked with almost all appliances at home.
