Xiaomi Philippines has announced a price cut on its smartphone, Redmi 9. The Redmi 9 sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Posted on Xiaomi Philippines' Instagram, the Redmi 9 receives a price drop. The Redmi 9 3GB + 32GB variant is now priced at PHP 5,990 (from PHP 6,990) while the 4GB + 64GB variant now retails at PHP 6,590 (from PHP 7,490). You may check out our full review of the Redmi 9 here. Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series in the Philippines, consisting of the standard Wi-Fi model and a 5G variant. Both devices are set to be available starting November 7 through Xiaomi’s official Shopee and Lazada stores, as well as authorized Xiaomi retailers nationwide. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G variant offers enhanced connectivity via a SIM and eSIM slot, and an upgraded 13MP main camera, while the Wi-Fi-only model comes with an 8MP camera.
