Xiaomi has officially launched its updated version of the YI Sport Camera which is now powered by an Ambarella A9 chipset that can also be found in the GoPro's Hero4 edition, has a 2.19-inch touch display and can now records in 4K  – the Yi 4K Action Camera. The YI 4K Action Camera will be available in black, white, rose gold colors, and is priced at 1199 yuan or around Php8,500. A reader emailed in asking for advise on which dSLR camera to get with a budget under Php40,000. I'm biased towards Canon cameras but here's my list of possible kits you can buy with that budget. One of the biggest additions is the new Osmo FrameTap remote which allows users to remotely control the gimbal, frame shots, and take selfies using the rear camera. The system enables users to execute common tasks, which include zooming, undoing actions, and changing brush sizes without needing to use a keyboard, which results in better working performance. DJI has confirmed that its next-generation pocket camera, the Osmo Pocket 4, will officially launch on April 16 at 12 PM (GMT).
