Google has confirmed that it is rolling out the Picture-in-Picture feature on the YouTube app for iPhone and iPad users. Google confirmed with MacRumors that YouTube is rolling out the PiP feature of its app to iPhone and iPad users, starting with Premium users then later to all users. "Picture-in-Picture (PiP) allows users to watch YouTube videos in a small mini player while simultaneously browsing outside of the YouTube app on their mobile device. We’re starting to roll out PiP for YouTube Premium members on iOS and plan to launch PiP for all US iOS users as well." The Picture-in-Picture feature rolled out to iPhone users when Apple released iOS 14.
