Samsung 2021 Neo QLED, MICRO LED, The Frame smart TVs now official

Samsung has recently announced the latest series of its smart TVs for 2021. This consists of the Samsung 2021 Neo QLED, MICRO LED, and The Frame.

The Samsung 2021 Neo QLED comes in two variants: 8K (QN900A) and 4K (QN90A). The latest flagship smart TV of the brand now uses a new light source under Quantum Mini LED. Quantum Matrix Technology enables ultra-fine and precise control of the densely packed LEDs and a powerful Neo Quantum Processor that enhances upscaling capabilities.

The 2021 Neo QLED 8K features a new Infinity One design for a sleeker and nearly bezel-less design. It comes with a Slim One Connect box for cable management, Object Tracking Sound (OTS) Pro for tracking audio based on the movement of objects on the screen, and SpaceFit Sound that tailors the audio quality from the physical environment. Both the 4K and 8K units of the 2021 Neo comes with Samsung Health for transforms the home into a personal gym, Smart Trainer that elevates and personalizes the home workout experience,  Super Ultrawide GameView for immersive gaming, Google Duo support, allows consumers to connect a PC to the TV and access MS Office 365 through the TV’s web browser.

Meanwhile, the new MICRO LED line comes in 110-inch, and 99-inch displays with 24 million micrometer-sized LED lights to eliminate the backlight and color filters. It has a monolith design, Quad View feature for watching up to four different content sources simultaneously on one screen, connect multiple external devices, and delivers 5.1 channel sound with no external speaker through Majestic Sound mode.

Lastly, the 2021 version of The Frame is made a half thinner compared to its predecessor. Its detachable bezels are now available in five colors and come in two customizable Modern and Beveled styles. Those who will subscribe to the all-new Art Store may also enjoy over 1,400 curated pieces which they can use as a background to The Frame.

Apart from eco-friendly and sustainable packaging, Samsung also shared that it will use solar-powered remote controls for its 2021 smart TVs. The remote controls may be recharged by indoor light, outdoor light, or a USB port. About 24% of the remote control will be made from upcycled plastics from recyclable bottles.

    Yeah, but can you play on PS5 with HDMI 2.1, 4k and HDR at 120 hz with those new models, or will it be the same fiasco?
