Facebook rolls out Live Video for iPhone users

Facebook has announced that it is rolling out its Live Video feature to more users starting today, allowing users to do live broadcasts to families and friends similar to Twitter’s Periscope.

The live video feature was first made available in December to a limited audience for testing. Starting today, it will be available to everyone in the U.S. via iPhone (to arrive on Android soon), but will roll out in other countries in the coming weeks.

To share a live video, just open your Facebook app, tap on Update Status, and then select the Live Video icon. You can also write a quick description and choose your audience before going live. Your video will be saved on your Timeline at the end of your broadcast.
