Microsoft Office Apps Now on Google Play Store

Five weeks after Microsoft debuted the preview of Office for Android phone, the software giant has finally made its popular productivity software trio Word, Excel and PowerPoint available on Google Play Store.

All of these touch-optimized productivity apps from Microsoft are free to download and install on all Android devices with a 10.1-inch or smaller display, provided that it meets the minimum requirements which include at least 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4 or later.

And while users will be able to create and edit using these apps by just signing in with their Microsoft account, the full office experience requires an active Office 365 subscription. Moreover, Android devices with a screen size of 10.1-inch or larger also requires a user to subscribe to any of Office 365 plans.

Both Office 365 Home and Office 365 Personal subscriptions are being offered as an in-app purchase option inside any of the productivity apps.

All of Microsoft’s productivity apps designed for Android smartphones are now available on Google Play Store and can be downloaded on the links below.

you should be able to. because on my windows phone I can.
