Listen to article

Google has unveiled a new feature that allows users to publish videos from Google Vids directly to YouTube.

Users had to export their projects as MP4 files before uploading them manually before. With the update, videos can now be sent to YouTube straight from the File menu.

For security and control, all exported videos are set to Private by default. Users can review and adjust visibility settings in YouTube Studio before making them Public or Unlisted.

The feature is available to Google Workspace users and personal Google account holders.

It began rolling out on March 31 for Rapid Release domains. It will then reach Scheduled Release domains starting April 14, 2026.
