LG announces X Venture -- a stylish rugged smartphone

LG has announced a new rugged smartphone for the lower end market complete with water resistance and durable chassis.

The LG X Venture is a 5.2-inch Android smartphone encased in an IP68 water and dust resistant body and has passed MIL-STD 810G tests that are designed for the U.S. military. Aside from these, LG has also equipped the X Venture with their Outdoor Essentials app for easy access to its sensors and tool for outdoor use.

The phone sports physical buttons for UI navigation rather than on screen or capacitive ones and also has a customizable QuickButton on the side.

Specs-wise, there’s not much to look forward but it’s got everything a lower-end Android needs to run well day to day.
