SKK makes Phoenix X1 cheapest octa-core at Php5,499

After teasing its readers on a new octa-core smartphone, SKK Mobile has finally revealed the suggested retail price of the Phoenix X1 to be only Php5,499.

The SKK Phoenix X1 features a Mediatek octa-core chip, IPS HD display, dual-SIM capabilities and Android Kitkat out of the box.

I asked about the warranty at the SKK store at SM SouthMall. I was very very disappointed that what SKK offers is a one year service warranty for the phones it sells and not a full parts and service warranty.
No wonder they can sell so cheaply.

sayang lang lahat ng effort ng SKK kasi hindi naman available sa Davao, Pinakabago nila stock eh Platium at Memo2. Ayaw daw kumuha ng boss nila ng Marian units kasi mahal Anobayan! Sana iba na lang nakakuha ng franchise sa Davao kasi palpak sila dito!

SKK is a Chinese company which manufactures its own phones in their factories in China. It is not like Cherry Mobile of MyPhone which just rebrand phones from other manufacturers (OEMs).

You might want to ask Google what the difference between DPI and PPI is. They do not refer to the same thing. Unless of course the product’s DPI is equal to its PPI.
