菲律宾央行与百盛银行、联合银行就黑客事件展开协调合作

菲律宾中央银行(BSP)已宣布,其正在密切关注BDO客户关于账户中未经授权交易的投诉激增情况,并与该银行以及联合银行保持密切协调。

菲律宾中央银行行长本杰明·迪奥克诺在推特上表示,该行正在监测社交媒体平台上激增的投诉,并正与BDO和UnionBank协调,确保采取补救措施,包括向受影响的消费者进行赔偿。

“请放心,我们将继续与利益相关方合作,确保金融体系的安全与完整,并保护金融消费者,”迪奥克诺表示。

马尼拉公报收到来自BDO的官方声明,表示该行已知悉与一次性密码(OTP)相关的关切,并愿向客户保证,其正在逐一调查相关案例,并将向受影响者作出回复。

Bloomberg收到了UnionBank总裁Edwin Bautista的更新消息,称该银行“将毫不犹豫地采取法律行动,针对利用其账户协助犯罪活动的个人”,并表示其也在与BDO进行监控与合作。

My debit card was used for an unauthorized online transaction last March 31, 2023. The debit card was never used to any online or over the counter debit payment. It was rarely used for atm withdrawals. Still the unauthorized transaction generated on OTP and sending an SMS message to my cp number informing me the amount is 35.68 Euros. If i fail to call BDO sooner, the charge will proceed. BDO only says “sorry” nothing more and just replaced the card. BDO cannot assure it will never happened. No security for customers.

Its is not the fault of the customer doing online transactions on unsecured smartphones ….?

IT must be grilled .. its their job. When i was parts manager.. i was made to pay any even small lost nut .
