Meralco subscribers may defer bill payment for May

Meralco subscribers may defer the payment of their bills for the month of May.

Senator Risa Hontiveros, as shared on her official Facebook page, advised Meralco to reflect the actual consumption of electricity on its bill for the month of May. This is in response to the sudden increase in the electric bill of consumers which caused confusion.

The senator also requested to indicate the breakdown of payment for installment mode which could be settled starting June 15, 2020.
