OnePlus compact flagship in the works for Q2 2025 release

Listen to article

Bringing back compact flagships is seemingly a trend nowadays. There’s the rumored OPPO Find X8 mini, the vivo X200 mini, and now their sister company, OnePlus is also eyeing to release its own compact flagship phone.

The company is reportedly working on an alleged Ace 5 Series which may debut in China by year-end. And as a new addition to the series, the alleged ‘OnePlus Ace 5 Mini’ could release thereafter, in the second quarter of 2025 at the earliest.

Unfortunately, the technical specs are yet to be seen. But it is likely to boast a flagship SoC in a more compact size.

Going back to the Ace 5 Series, OnePlus is expected to unveil two models, the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro which reportedly run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively.
