Why the iPod would never have been a hit in the 80’s

Not that people in the 80’s were not that hip or anything. It’s just that…


… it would be really hard to carry the thing around.

On a related note, TUAW reports that Apple sends a takedown notice to an ISP so they could prevent the guy from uploading codes that could hack the iPod Touch. Mathew Ingram is perplexed why people aren’t outraged with Apple for this move. Oh, the Evil New Empire.

      Its really hard to carry that thing around. You need a back pack for it. :)

      Why would anybody need to hack the iPod Touch? It isn’t “network locked”. It doesn’t even work on them cellular networks! *confused*

      Ahh.. Yes, I remember the speculations about a lot of blank spaces on the iPod Touch’s menu screen.
