Uzzap extends free service ’til July 31

Just got word the other day that Smart’s new Uzzap service will be extending its free roll-out until July 31. That means 10 free SMS via Uzzap until end of the month. So far, the most popular section being used is the Chatrooms with over 78 groups (with 20 max capacity each almost full). Anybody here been using it regularly?

Hirap mag connect! Chatrooms are full of flooders and very rude people! Limited to Philippines only. yahoo and MSN only! Hindi user friendly. Lakas sa bytes and ang laki ng file size! and more than all mabilis maka lowbat outch! i tried it to 3 different phones and show same frustrating results. I rather use yung mga dati na mobile IM (MIM) like agilemessenger (m.agilemessenger.com)USA, mig33 (wap.mig.com)AUS, nimbuzz (m.nimbuzz.com)EUR, yehba (m.yehba.com)PH. pick your choice! then if you have one add me to your buddy list. hehehe

@BigBird - the benefit of using Uzzap on Smart is you have a bundled service - if you use the other products you mention you have to pay the appropriate data costs. Also Uzzap is going to be free to login and receive messages as well as the chatrooms are going to be free even when charging is introduced! Add the bundled SMS and you have a value proposition no other product comes anywhere close to! Suggest you check it out on a decent (symbian)phone before you jump to your conclusions.

I suggest you try it out other MIM b4 u jump to conclusion! Bundle of SMS r standard feature of MIM’s but its International SMS with other MIMs where you only pay for data usage w/c is more cheaper. BTW I can’t connect using N82 can you help me out!?

Intermittent Connection! Disconnection All the time. Spelling, punctuations, and grammars are incorrect! Why is it not on realtime? parang SMS delayed! May be they should upgrade their Pentium2/8mb ram server to a QuadcoreDuo/12GBram or replace their mouse pad to make it faster. hehehe mag TXT na lng me di pa malakas sa battery!:p
