dotMe (.me) Domain opens today!

Listen to article

A new ccTLD has opened its doors to the public today — .me. The new domain extension can be used for web sites, blogs, photo albums, or anything else to share with your family and friends all over the world.

ME is the country code of Montenegro. There are no restrictions in regard of registrant’s residence or other contact policies, also no restrictions of the content.

Registration stats at $19.99 a year with minimum of 2 years initial fee.

Hopefully, Steve Jobs already reserved mobile.me for his iPhone service or otherwise, there will be some money rolling out of Apple.

The dotMe domains is such a nice ccTLD. Image all that ****.me domains people will have fun time registering.

-If someone gets that domain, still he can claim it, i bet. He can contact the person to buy it or he can file domain dispute with the necessary documents that he owns the trademark.

The perks of being a new country with a nice TLD. Hehehe. Montenegro just became independent from Serbia last 2006.
