A link from Digg reported that the oldest registered domain, Symbolics.com, is still up and running. The domain was registered as early as March 15, 1985 — more than 21 years ago!
I got my first registered domain back in 1999 for yugatech.com which was offered for free by NameZero. Domain registration then was still $35 per year and free domain services like NameZero and NameDemo used advertising in a frame to offset the cost of the free domains.
Took me until October 7, 2002 to finally re-register yugatech.com along with pinoyblog.com thru my friend who runs MobileHive. We had another domain (blueleafmedia.net) registered July of 2000 for our group but forgot all about it.
Those were good times to remember by.
