Don’t be a victim of fake promos via text.
Here are 3 easy ways to spot a false promo:
1. Beware of text messages informing you that you’ve won a special prize, specially if you don’t remember joining that particular promo.
2. Our winner are never asked to pay cash or send prepaid load as a condition to claiming the prize.
3. Winners are advised via appropriate means such as letters, phone calls from company representatives, and advertisements
4. If you have questions about a promo or wish to report any suspicious text message, dial 211 for Globe or 808 for Touch Mobile toll-free using your cellphone.

Pinoy Big Brother Season 2!
Auditions will start this coming Monday, May 8 at the SM Activity Center Atrium, Cagayan de Oro. This will be followed by another audition in the Queen City of the South, Cebu on Friday, May 12 at SM Cebu SM Cinema 2.
The following week, auditions will start on Monday, May 15 at Bacolod Robinson’s Place and then on Tuesday, May 16 at Robinson’s Place Iloilo.
Venues will be announced later for auditions on the following schedules: May 19 (Fri) in Davao, June 9 (Fri) in Dagupan, June 10 (Sat) in Baguio and June 16 (Sat) in Legaspi, Bicol.
For Metro Manila residents, auditions will be held on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18 as well as Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 at ABS-CBN.

What’s the Theme Song of Etheria?

Another telefantasya in brewing up somewhere and it’s call Etheria. Got a comment several days ago about Etheria and was asking if I know the themesong for it.

Plinky Recto sues Live-in Partner

News about Plinky Recto has been going around. She is allegedly suing her live-in partner whom she would not name publicly because the case is still in the courts.
Apparently, this issue was due to some domectic violence on the part of Plinky Recto. She has been under care and protection of Gabriela, a women’s rights party list group.

Now, a reference to both Gen Jarque and the Urban Bank case was mentioned by Plinky in a TV interview with Ces Drilon’s tv program “Get Real” aired on November 29, 2005.
So, circumstantially, Plinky’s ex-lover who beat her was Atty. Magdaleno Peña.

Billboard magazine now sees ring tones as worth including in its venerable top-seller listings.
The music industry magazine will soon be publishing a list of best-selling ring tones, alongside its more traditional categories, like best-selling album.
The new listing, which debuts in the Nov. 6 issue, reflects the “growth, innovation and success of the rapidly growing mobile music market,” Billboard said in a statement Tuesday. The “Hot Ringtones” chart will list the top 20 selling ring tones for each week. It will be based on sales of polyphonic, or “real music,” ring tones compiled primary from U.S.-based providers, Billboard said.
U.S. retains control of the Net Microsoft sees no money from Money Surf’s up for management software Google Base service goes live , which were introduced about three years ago in the United States, have grown increasingly sophisticated. Sales are increasing 20 percent to 30 percent every three months and are expected to reach a record $250 million this year, according to recording industry sources. Billboard and the CTIA, a cell phone trade group, estimated Tuesday that ring tone sales will be higher this year–about $300 million.
Once limited to just nine different musical tones playing one after another, ring tones now feature complex harmonies and any number of different sounds. In the future, it’s expected that ring tones will be accompanied by graphics.
Ring tones are among the biggest hits in the market for cell phone services and content.

Rumor has been going around that nude pictures of Chix Alcala has been goping around mobile phones and is distributed via MMS. I have seen the pictures myself on some other websites but haven’t seen the ones that are being passed around via cell phones.
Ever since this Pinoy BigBrother scandal has blown over the television, thousands of people have been scouring websites and blogs in search for the naked pictures. Now it is also invading mobile phones.
Ok, if anyone might stumble on this blog looking for them pictures, sorry, nothing here. Move along.
